Week 5, term 3 2023
Principal Update
Werte Bradshaw Community,
What a busy two weeks since the last newsletter. Lots of great events have happened across the school.
The year 4/5 returned from camp at the end of week 3. Teachers and students reported that it was an enormous success and that everyone really demonstrated the values of WE CARE, WE SHARE and WE SHINE.
A massive thanks to Ms. Fahey and Ms. V for the amazing science fair we had yesterday. It was awesome to see so many families all coming in and engaging in science experiments with their children. So many students showed that they CARE by tidying up, that they SHARE by taking turns and waiting in lines to have a go and that they SHINE by being proud of their experiment and things they built when showing them to friends and families. Well done to all the teachers for giving up time to run stations and helping students across the event. These great events don’t happen without your enthusiasm and positivity.
This week we welcomed back Ms. Tracy. It is great to have her return to Bradshaw. Ms. Tracy worked here in terms 1 and 2 and is very familiar with the class and teachers and everyone is excited that she is back.
Reminder that we have school photos and book week happening next week and that in week 7, our school swimming program is happening for students from Year 2 to Year 3.
Kind regards.
Tim O’Sullivan
Mega year 4/5 camp
In week 4, lucky Bradshaw staff and students got to go to Ross River for a mega camp. Students got to spend time together while building relationships, problem solving and having immense amounts of fun!
Thank you to all of our amazing family volunteers- Soloman Payn, Suelisa Lisati, Stuart Mitchell and Emma Lake for giving up their time to come and spend time with us. A huge shout out to the one and only Amy Nunez who worked long and hard feeding us lots of yummy food!

Science Fair
Our Science Fair on Thursday afternoon was well supported by our school community. It was great to see so many families come together to explore a range of hands-on activities. Students got creative with playdough, experimented with electrical circuits, designed paper planes, and trailed and tested balloon rockets. It was the perfect combination of fun and learning together.
