Update from Leadership
The outstanding teacher practice at Bradshaw is being shared with the education world through the filming of an Evidence for Learning Case Study this week. A team of videographers captured our teachers and students in the moment. They were stars in showing the amazing teaching and learning that occurs with our Instructional Model (this is how we teach at Bradshaw). Schools around Australia will be learning from us!
The students were in the spot light last week with the Three Way Conferences which happened across the school. There were many proud parents hearing about their child’s progress and goals that have been set for this semester, which pave the way for success. Three Way Conferences enable your family and the school to work together to get the best for your child. If you haven’t had the opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher, please call the school to make an appointment.
Have you shared your opinions about Bradshaw through our School Survey yet? Your feedback is important in planning the direction for Bradshaw in 2021 and beyond. The staff and students (Year 3, 4, 5 & 6) also complete the survey so that we have the views of everyone. Click on the link – it takes about 10 minutes. Next week sees our school camps begin with 5P and the Cheetahs going to Hamilton Downs. The Year 4’s, 5’s and 6’s will continue in the weeks after with the Year 6 students bush camping at Gemtree. Camps are a privilege. Staff and parents take time away from their families to ensure that the camps can go ahead. It is expected that students are respectful and responsible and show the Bradshaw Learner Qualities at all times. Camps are the perfect opportunity to build stronger relationships between students and in these COVID times this is essential for well being.
Bring all the colours of the rainbow alive next Friday with Tie-Dye day. Wear all your tie-dye items at once for the craziest kaleidoscope of colour. This is all for fun and being organized by the SRC!
There is more to look forward to in Term 3 with our Bradshaw Buddy Festival and Colour Smash in Week 10. Look out for news about these events and more in the weeks ahead.

2020 School Survey

Your opinion matters! The annual Department of Eduaction school survey is running till 28th August 2020. It collects the opinions of staff, students and their families about our school. The results help school improvement. To obtain this valuable data, staff and students will complete the survey at school, we are also seeking parent feedback. Please click the link to complete this short survey.
