Update from Leadership
It was great to see so many families visiting classrooms at last week’s Meet The Teacher night. Children are always excited to show parents their classrooms so it was fabulous to see so many of you at school.
We always welcome parent contact at school but we do need to do so in a COVID-safe way. Please note the following guidelines about school drop off and pick up:
Make it quick – stay for less than two minutes
Keep your distance – keep 1.5m from others
Wait outside the gate or the classroom
If you need to see your child’s teacher please wait until they are not busy with dismissing students. Teachers often have meetings after school so may not be able to see you on the day so you can arrange another time to meet or contact the office on 8955 2100 to schedule a meeting.
Just a reminder about some coming events:
- Community Engagement Session – Thursday 25th February at 5pm in the library. Come along and hear about the various programs on offer at Bradshaw.
- School Council AGM – Monday 1st March at 5.30pm in the library. Parent nominations are still open – contact Tracie Richardson on the office if you would like further information or would like to nominate to be part of School Council.
Thank you to everyone who has helped make the Kiss and Go a safer place in the afternoons by not coming until 2.55pm. This keeps the traffic flowing smoothly. Please also note there is parking available on the Flynn Drive oval side of the school for drop offs and pick ups too.

1P Portraits
Year 1 students and staff created a personal profile to get to know each other. Check out these profiles from 1 Phillips. Mrs Phillips smile has been captured perfectly!

Transition students settling in well
Transition students and staff have settled quickly into their new classes. Discovery Learning every morning builds connections with friends, encourages problem solving and promotes inquiry learning. Look at our little learners.

Professional Development Day
Friday 12th March 2021. Staff will be engaged in Professional Learning, students do not come to school on this day. We thank you for your support.

Community Engagement Session & School Council AGM 2021
We invite all Bradshaw families to attend our Community Engagement session which will be held on the Thursday 25th February 2021 from 5pm - 6pm in our school library. We will also be having our School Council AGM on Monday 1st of March at 5.30pm. If you interested in nominating to be a parent member on School Council, please contact the front office. We'd love to have you!

End of Summer Festival at Bradshaw
It is so important that EVERY child is at school EVERY day. To celebrate our great attendance so far this year we are planning an End of Summer Festival. Students can wear their favourite summer outfit, sausage sizzle lunch, fun and games throughout the day - too much to miss. Be here!!!

Uniform Delays
We have received an update from our uniform suppliers who have advised there will be a further delay to the shipment of our school t-shirts. This unfortunately means we will have no smaller sized shirts until this arrives. We kindly ask that if any parents have any old uniforms they are no longer wanting and would love to pass on to other families we will gladly accept these at the front office. We appreciate all our families that have kindly donated already.

Sports Voucher Scheme
We have sent notes home with our students this week advising that the NT Gov Sports Vouchers are now available for all families to access. Please go to www.sportvoucher.nt.gov.au for more information.

$20 family photography fundraiser
Bede, the family photographer is back this year - 10th/11th March. Please visit this link for information or to book in your session: www.trybooking.com/716355
